Sports Camps

Summerside on the Hill sports camps will take place in our state-of-the-art gym or one of our newly renovated turf fields. There are specialized single sports day camps for the camper who desires to build skills and abilities in a dedicated sport. NEW THIS YEAR: SCH Sports Camp, where campers will work with a conditioning coach in the morning, practicing skills and drills. In the afternoon, SCH Sports campers will break up into specialized sports groups, to focus on their sport of choice.  In addition to our SCH Sports Camp, Summerside offers a wide range of specialty sports camps throughout summer. All Summerside on the Hill athletic offerings feature the talent and expertise of Springside Chestnut Hill Academy’s top coaches.

  • SCH Biddy Academy | Grades Pre-K - 2 | Weeks 2 + 9

    SCH Biddy Academy is designed to introduce new basketball athletes to the fundamentals of the game. They will learn through skill and drill, team-building activities, and scrimmages.  Campers will use basketball nets and ball designed just for them! 

    Camp Instructor: Julian McFadden, SCH coach (bio listed in registration) 

    Cost: $350

    Camp hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm 
    - Early Birds: 7:30am - 8:30am ($5/day) 
    - After Care: 3:30pm - 6pm ($25/day, $100/week)

  • SCH Soccer Camp | Grades 1 - 8 | Week 2

    SCH Soccer Camp is for the soccer enthusiast! Campers will work on their skills, agility, and performance with collegiate level athletes.  Whether your camper is on defensive, offensive or still deciding, they will learn the best stragegies to be a better team-mate and all around player. 

    Cleats and Shinguards will be needed. 

    Cost: $350

    Camp hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm 
    - Early Birds: 7:30am - 8:30am ($5/day) 
    - After Care: 3:30pm - 6pm ($25/day, $100/week) 

    Lunch is FREE with Soccer, snack is also provided.
  • Sports Performance | Grades 1 - 5 | Week 1

    SCH Sports Performance camp is dedicated to helping campers progress and improve by offering camps that build from day to day and week to week to facilitate maximum development. Coaches focus on skills, techniques, and tactics that you express interest in developing. In an encouraging learning environment, every athlete receives the level of attention required to improve their skills. We offer integrated and proven performance training that's tailored to each sport and each individual athlete. Physical conditioning for athletes are integrated into training throughout camp. Our goal is to help campers reach their full potential in sports.

  • SCH Sports Camp | Grades 1 - 6 | Week 3, 5, 6, 7, 8

    SCH Sports Camp is led by SCH top talents. This is a new type of sports camp! Campers will practice conditioning drills in the morning as a large group, focusing on strength training and agility. In the afternoon, campers will break up into their specialty group, focusing on their sport of choice. No equipment needed; all will be provided.

  • SCH Basketball | Grades 2 - 8 | Weeks 2 + 9

    The SCH Basketball Camp is open to both girls and boys entering grades 2nd-8th. Whether you are a newcomer to the sport or a varsity level player, this SCH Basketball Camp is designed to help young basketball players develop athletically. They will learn through skill and drill, team-building activities, as well as scrimmages.

  • SCH Tennis Camp | Grades 1 - 4 | Weeks 2, 5, 6

    Campers will learn about all aspects of the game in small structured groups based on age and ability. While focusing on the fundamentals and strategies of tennis, each camper will be challenged to improve their skills through games, drills, and match play. Sign up for the SCH Tennis Camp today! This is a HALF DAY camp - tennis camp will end at 12 PM. You can either pick-up at 12 PM OR campers can join Red Hot Day Camp for the second half of the day for an added cost. 

    Camp Instructor: Ashley Vandegrift, SCH teacher and coach (bio listed in registration) 

    Cost: $275

    Camp hours: HALF DAY - 8:30am - 12:00pm 
    - Early Birds: 7:30am - 8:30am ($5/day)

  • SCH Tennis Camp | Grades 5 - 8 | Weeks 2, 5, 6

  • Foundations of the Game: Football Camp | Grades 1 - 8 | Week 3 & 5

    The goal of the Foundations of the Game football camp is to instill in children, entering grades 1-8, a passion for the game of football while teaching them the proper fundamental skills to be successful and safe on the field. The camp gives players one-on-one coaching, practice, games, and film review in a real football environment led by SCH varsity head coach Rick Knox with the assistance of current high school and college football players. The camp's upbeat environment and focus on skills is perfect for novice or experienced players who want to improve their techniques and have fun in the process.

  • NetNation Lacrosse | Grades 1 - 8 | Week 2

    Matt Rambo and Brian Dougherty, SCH Academy’s varsity lacrosse coaches, are offering the rare opportunity for young athletes, boys ages 7 to 14, to develop their lacrosse skills with these two internationally recognized athletes. This lacrosse camp is for boys of all skills and abilities who want to develop as athletes with top-notch professional coaching. Daily schedule includes two 2-hour sessions with skill building, drills, and scrimmage in a fun, positive environment.
